A message from the Superintendent about the CISD 2024 VATRE
I’d like to thank each and every voter in the Coupland ISD community who took the time to provide their input on the district’s 2024 Voter Approved Tax Ratification Election (VATRE). While we are disappointed in the results of this election, we will continue to prioritize the needs of our students, and staff, first and foremost in everything we do. We will continue the great work of teaching, supporting, and growing the students in Coupland ISD, now and in the future. Together, with our community, we will work to instill a foundation of academics and character and empower all students to achieve excellence in Coupland ISD; The BEST little school in Texas - where EXCELLENCE is tradition.
Respectfully,
Dr. Earl W. Parcell
Superintendent

Construction Update - 11/4/2024 Dirt, dirt, and more dirt work. Weaver & Jacobs has been bringing in truckloads of dirt and working it into the site of the new Coupland Middle School according to the site plan documents. The dirt is strategically dumped, worked, compacted, and then inspected for specific measurements and moisture levels. The construction fence has already been installed and the water fire line will also be installed soon. The construction superintendent shared that the next major phase will be drilling more than 240 piers about 40 feet deep and filling them with steel and concrete.

Mrs. Carr acted like a meteorologist today! She even put on a (rather small) jacket, had a pretend microphone, and a camera crew! What a fun way to learn about the weather! ☀️⛈️
